The Campus Update section of the Independent contains a compedium
of news occuring on CIC campuses, demonstrating the range of important
contributions and achievements CIC institutions are making nationwide:

Update - Summer 2007
- Chapman University (CA) opens Marion Knott Studios, Georgetown College
(KY) graduates its inaugural class from the First Tee Scholars Program,
University of Puget Sound develops software to increase fair voting
standards, and numerous CIC presidents take leadership roles in the
American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment.

- Dakota Wesleyan University (SD) dedicates the George and Eleanor McGovern
Library and Center for Leadership and Public Service, Washington and
